About NCFE

Dr. K. P. Gopalakrishna, a visionary educationist and the Chairman of the National Public Schools Group, felt the need for a mode of teaching that would not only instill traditional values but also make children competent in a competitive world. Thus, National Centre For Excellence came into existence.

The school believes in enabling its students to be ready for life, better equipped to deal with the outside world. Here, the emphasis is not on academics alone, but also on the moral, artistic, leadership, physical and emotional aspects of a child’s development. This kind of education not only helps children grow as students but also instills in them the value of being a good human being and a good citizen.

The school also aims at making education interesting and fun by discouraging unreceptive learning, encouraging creativity, enhancing problem-solving abilities, nurturing IQ, promoting innovative thinking and infusing ethical values.

At National Centre For Excellence each child is considered unique and hence is treated so. The school strongly believes that a standard rule cannot be uniquely used to deal with each and every child. Children are not just students, but thinking and emotional beings with ideas and talents. These are recognised, nurtured and supported by the school to help children realize their full potential. To make this possible, the school maintains a 1:15 teacher student ratio that enables the teacher to pay more attention to each student.

The school forges a close relationship with parents to ensure that a child's progress is in sync with parents’ expectations. Keeping this in mind, the school follows a policy of having special meetings between the staff and parents not only to monitor a child's progress but also to identify obstacles that hamper the child's development and remove them.
